Heathermeade Distilling is a small-batch craft distillery in Kenilworth, New Jersey, operating under the Tree City Spirits brand. Founded in 2015 by Rich Bentrewicz and Michael Maggio, the operation started as a backyard experiment before growing into a full-scale production facility where everything from mashing to bottling happens on-site using 100% New Jersey corn from Etch Farms in Monroe Township. The flagship Tree City Artisan Vodka earned a gold medal from the American Distilling Institute, making it the first New Jersey-made craft spirit to receive that distinction. Beyond the artisan vodka, you'll find a rotating lineup that includes a jalapeño vodka with real heat, a floral collection spanning lavender, hibiscus, and rose varieties, and CitroCello, their orange-grapefruit liqueur. Bourbon and apple brandy are aging in barrels and available for sampling in the tasting room before wider commercial release.
