David Nahmias grew up watching his parents distill in Morocco, and after losing his tech career, he and his wife Dorit left finance behind to rebuild that tradition in New York. The result is something genuinely singular: a distillery that honors a 125-year-old family recipe while also turning out award-winning rye and bourbon under the Legs Diamond label, made from locally sourced grains.
